This viral Avengers: Infinity War site makes the movie’s ending personal

You may have left the theater wondering how the film would impact your own life

You probably had a bunch of questions after watching Avengers: Infinity War. We’ve already speculated on the answers to some of them. But for one of the biggest, most personal questions Infinity War leaves us with, a handy new website is here to tell it to us straight.

[Warning: Needless to say, there are major Avengers: Infinity War spoilers below. Turn back now if you haven’t seen the movie.]

Avengers: Infinity War is based on a premise that some may consider flimsy. The movie’s big-bad, Thanos, wants to collect all of the Infinity Stones so that he can unlock the power of the Infinity Gauntlet. With that power, Thanos will be able to do what he believes is the best thing for the entire universe: Obliterate half of its population, preserving the limited amount of natural resources that all living beings need to survive.

And while the Avengers do their damndest to stop Thanos from using the Infinity Gauntlet to exercise his will, Infinity War ends in defeat for our heroes. Thanos turns an entire half of the universe into crumbling dustincluding much of the Avengers crew.

We’re most likely never going to be in a situation like this ourselves, in the real world. But of course, we started speculating which side of the line we’d be on as soon as the move ended. Would we survive Thanos’ snapping fingers? Or would we crumble into infinitesimal particles?

Did Thanos Kill You? has the answer. The website greets you with one of two responses when you log on: “You were spared by Thanos,” or “You were slain by Thanos, for the good of the Universe.”

Did Thanos Kill You?

I’m happy to announce I have been spared by Thanos in the canonical Avengers version of New York City, while some of my co-workers have perished. Let us know if you make it into the beginning of the next Avengers movie in the comments.
