During Nintendo’s press conference at E3 today, the company revealed details about the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 story expansion.
The trailer showed characters traveling across the beautiful scenery that Xenoblade is known for. This new expansion focuses on the game’s antagonist, Jin, and the history of his birthplace, Torna. Torna has been around hundreds of years before the story of the main game takes place, so you know you’ll get to learn about deep game lore.
This is the final listed expansion on the game’s website, but this doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the last update for Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was released on Nintendo Switch on Dec. 1, 2017, and the game has received both paid and free updates since the release. Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna — The Golden Country will be released Sept. 14 for Switch, and players can get it with the game’s expansion pass, which costs $29.99. This story expansion will also be able to be purchased separately.
