Cyberpunk 2077’s Twitter account is making up for years of silence with some tasty goofs

Time to positively interact with a brand!

Cyberpunk 2077 made a very positive impression at E3 this year, and factored prominently in Microsoft’s press conference. The game’s developer, CD Projekt Red, also cleverly hid a bunch of information inside the trailer, alongside free copies of the Witcher 3 Game of the Year Edition. It was a good show for the game, all things considered.

But it’s the game’s Twitter account that has proven to be the most fun both during and after E3.

We have the game’s official account get really excited about kind words from GamesRadar, and inadvertently create a new character.

In terms of theme, I’m not sure there’s anything more dystopian than a fast food restaurant getting excited about your video game.

Running a Twitter account that tries to be goofy without coming off like you’re trying be very hard to appeal to Fellow Youths can be tricky, but whoever is behind the Cyberpunk 2077 social team is doing a pretty good job of things so far.
