The Steam Summer Sale is live

Money was nice while it lasted

Ah, the Steam Summer Sale: a week to remind you that you never really had any intentions of going outside, even when it was nice out. If you’re irresponsible with money — lookin’ at you, kid — then you may want to hide your credit card. But if you’ve been patiently “waiting for the next Steam sale,” this is your moment!

Every year, Valve adds a fun minigame to its sale — whether it be collecting badges or some kind of trading-card-palooza. This year is no exception, since you can now “fight the Duldrumz” in a new minigame. This will of course net you some trading cards. I guess it’s true what they say about Valve making games again.

Maybe you’ve cultivated a perfect wishlist this year, just waiting for the perfect moment — if so, good for you. But sometimes, you just want to mosey through a sale at your own pace. Well, if you get overwhelmed, here are some of the best deals from this year’s sale. But you’ll need to act fast if you want to nab any of these; the 2018 Steam Summer Sale ends on July 5.

  • Ark: Survival Evolved — 19.80 (67% off)
