The nominees for this year’s Game Critics Awards: Best of E3 have been announced. Chosen by a group of 51 global media and influence outlets (including Polygon!), these 56 nominated games represent the best of their genres and platforms. The winners will be announced on Monday, July 2.

In order to qualify for nomination, games must have been able to play for at least five minutes during E3 2018. As such, some notable titles (Cyberpunk 2077, Fallout 76, Death Stranding and The Last of Us Part 2 among them) were disqualified from consideration.
