The next game in IO Interactive’s Hitman series appears to have leaked via publisher Warner Bros.’ website. A logo for Hitman 2 was recently spotted hosted on WBGames.com. The image has since been removed.
On Monday, Warner Bros. and IO Interactive teased a reveal scheduled for the morning of Thursday, June 7, in two separate posts on the official WB Games and Hitman Twitter accounts. Hitman fans quickly deduced that WB Games’ teaser was set in the Hitman universe.

Shortly after the teaser, fans dug up the logo for Hitman 2 on WB Games’ servers.
Hitman 2 will apparently be IO Interactive’s follow-up to 2016’s Hitman, an episodic restart for the series. It’s unclear if Hitman 2 will be released as a stand-alone sequel or as a Season Two-style add-on for Hitman. We’ll know more on June 7, when Warner Bros. and IO officially reveal what’s next for Agent 47.
IO and Warner Bros. announced their partnership in April, allowing the Danish developer to remain an independent studio, with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment handling publishing duties. The two companies released Hitman: Definitive Edition, a collection featuring the game’s Year One and Game of the Year Edition content, along with new cosmetic items, in May.
