Days Gone, the open-world zombie adventure game from Syphon Filter developer Bend Studio, is coming to PlayStation 4 on Feb. 22, 2019. Sony and Bend Studio confirmed the game’s release date today during a brief livestream in advance of E3 2018.

Sony also offered a new look at Days Gone in action, including the game world’s many threats: a human gang known as R.I.P. (aka the Rippers), mountain lions, wolves, ravens and ... running out of gas. You can watch the release date and gameplay trailer above.

Days Gone was originally planned for release sometime this year, but was pushed to 2019 in March. Sony and Bend Studio announced Days Gone in 2016 at that year’s E3. The game is set in the high desert of the Pacific Northwest and players will take on the role of Deacon St. John, a mercenary and motorcycle club officer fighting for survival amid a zombie pandemic. Days Gone has been in development since early 2015.
