Netflix traveled a little light this year to San Diego Comic-Con, but kicked off its time at the con to tease a little of what Iron Fist’s second season has to offer.
Almost one year to the date after Marvel Television head Jeph Loeb announced that Iron Fist would return for a second season, fans are getting their first look at what’s next for Danny Rand. Iron Fist cast members, including Finn Jones, were present at the panel to watch some of the footage along with Iron Fist diehard fans (and people trapped in the infamous Hall H).
Reaction to Iron Fist’s first season wasn’t great, but things are looking up for good ol’ Danny. Critical and audience reception to Iron Fist in The Defenders and Luke Cage’s second season was far more positive, but there are still certainly a number of naysayers who aren’t on board with Marvel’s fourth Defender. 9
