If you’re looking to expand your video game inventory as you wait out the summer heat in the comfort of air conditioning, GameStop is running a new promotion, billed as the “Game Days Summer Sale”, now through July 15.
While there are a few deals on consoles and hardware, the most exciting part of this sale is definitely the discounted games. GameStop is offering up to 50 percent off “the biggest games,” according to its flyer announcing the sale. While that designation is debatable — the decision to include Star Wars: Battlefront 2 in the promotional images isn’t doing them any favors — there are indeed some great discounts on some great games here.
Monster Hunter: World, one of Polygon’s favorite new games this year, is at the lowest price we’ve seen since release, as is Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus. Rayman Legends, The Witcher 3, and The Surge are all excellent games available for the full 50 percent off, and if you haven’t given the surprisingly fun Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle a shot yet, you can pick it up right now for half off as well.
