Nintendo Switch bundles, Comic-Con exclusives and more gaming deals

When it rains Switch bundles it pours

Nintendo Switch deals are hard to come by, but there have been a few more bundles popping up around the internet as retailers take Amazon’s Prime Day lead (with the exception of Best Buy, which got the jump on Amazon by offering a better bundle a few days before Prime Day.) Walmart is matching Best Buy’s now sold out Switch bundle, which offers 50 percent off one of the console’s flagship games.

If you’re getting San Diego Comic-Con FOMO, there are some deals around the internet this week that can help ease the pain. Comixology is running its biggest sale of the year, with up to 80 percent off digital comics from indie publishers to DC and Marvel volumes. You can also check out some of the exclusive toys that are available to buy online, or preorder the just-announced Spider-Man PS4 Pro.

Commerce Team Picks

  • San Diego Comic-Con is this weekend — if you weren’t able to make it to the biggest pop culture expo in the world, there are a few con exclusives you can buy online.
  • The Polygon team is divided over whether the new limited-edition Spider-Man PS4 Pro is slick or gaudy. You can decide on your own, but personally I’m into it. It’s up for preorder now, bundled with Insomniac’s new Spider-Man game, at Amazon, Best Buy and GameStop.
  • The new sporty limited-edition Xbox controller we mentioned last week is up for preorder at Amazon now. It goes for $69.99 and will be released on July 31.
