Destiny 2: Forsaken will be released in a little over a month. But before the Sept. 4 release date arrives, Bungie will host another reveal stream for the expansion. This stream will feature senior sandbox designer Jon Weisnewski and will focus on how the game’s new weapon system will affect the Crucible, Destiny’s competitive PvP mode.
The time to kill — meaning how quickly players die to attacks — is going down significantly in Destiny 2: Forsaken. This is partially due to the new weapon system, which will give players more regular access to shotguns and sniper rifles, but also includes a global buff to weapon damage. In addition to showing off the new time to kill in the stream, Weisnewski promised players a look at new weapon perks and modifications as well.
Destiny 2: Forsaken’s Combat Reveal Stream will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 7 at 1 p.m. EST. Like all of Bungie’s reveals, it can be watched live on their Twitch or YouTube channels.
