Talim returns in Soulcalibur 6 after skipping the previous game

The Last Priestess of the Winds returns

Owen S. Good is a longtime veteran of video games writing, well known for his coverage of sports and racing games.

Talim, the Elbow Blade-brandishing fan favorite Last Priestess of the Winds, returns in Soulcalibur 6 when the fighting game launches in October.

Talim is the 14th fighter confirmed for the base roster. Two of those are new to the series — special guest star Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher series and Grøh, an all-new fighter hailing from Norway.

Talim first appeared in Soulcalibur 2, which premiered on consoles 15 years ago. She has since appeared in Soulcalibur 3 and 4 and, most recently, Broken Destiny, a 2009 PlayStation Portable title. She skipped Soulcalibur 5, much to fans’ disappointment.

Soulcalibur 6 launches Oct. 19, 2018 on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
