Amazon Prime Day may not technically be until July 16, but functionally most of this month is being taken over by “Black Friday in July.” Amazon’s running pre-Prime Day deals, including a daily free PC game with Twitch Prime, and other retailers are getting in on the action by offering tons of discounts throughout the month. GameStop’s Summer Sale is one of them. Some of “the biggest games” on Switch, PS4 and Xbox are up to 50 percent off at GameStop right now, including The Witcher 3, Fallout 4 and Monster Hunter: World.
PC gamers have a lot to take advantage of this week as well. Polygon readers can get the digital deluxe version of Yakuza 0 at Fanatical for $15 with code POLYGON25. Green Man Gaming is having a sale on “weird and wonderful” games including streaming favorites Human Fall Flat and I Am Bread.

Commerce Team Picks
- Gloomhaven was Board Game Geek’s Game of the Year for 2017 but the tabletop RPG has been almost impossible to find online since its second printing was funded on Kickstarter last year. As of this writing, you can get it at Amazon and Walmart for the retail price of $139.99. That’s a lot of cash to drop on a board game, but considering eBay resellers often charge upwards of $200, it’s a good idea to grab it while in stock at a major retailer.
- After selling out almost everywhere within a few hours of release, you can still find an NES Classic if you know where to look. GameStop has some in stock that will ship on July 13 and Amazon told Polygon that there are still limited quantities available in physical Amazon Books stores.
