TowerFall, the cult-classic local multiplayer game, will arrive on Nintendo Switch on Sept. 27. It is available to pre-order now, Nintendo revealed during its summer 2018 Nindies Showcase.

While TowerFall has been on several platforms before — including PlayStation, Xbox, mobile platforms and even the Ouya — this will be the first version on a Nintendo console. This version will also include all of the content from the TowerFall Dark World and TowerFall Ascension expansions.

While TowerFall’s standout mode is its competitive local multiplayer, which can be played by up to six players, the Nintendo Switch version will also feature the game’s co-op mode which can be played with up to four players.

As an added bonus to this version of the game, Madeline and Badeline from Celeste — also developed by the studio behind TowerFall, Matt Makes Games — will be joining the cast of characters exclusively in the Nintendo Switch version of TowerFall.
