Bungie teases Destiny 2’s next raid in a short video about Forsaken’s new city

The Dreaming City is full of secrets

Destiny 2’s newest expansion, Forsaken, isn’t out yet, but Bungie is already preparing players for what the end-game content will look like. Most of Forsaken’s end-game will take place in a place called, the Dreaming City, as the developers have previously said.

A new trailer introduces the city as a once spectacular place overtaken by some kind of mysterious evil. Once players finish the main story line of Forsaken, they’ll be tasked with saving the Dreaming City from whatever is controlling it. That means exploring the city and discovering mysteries to uncover, puzzles to solve and enemies to fight, based on the trailer.

The trailer also introduces something called the Blind Well, which appears to be a new game mode or event. Players will have to survive waves of enemies in order to gain powerful armor and weapons as a reward. Finally, the trailers shows us exactly where the first raid of Forsaken will take place: the center of the Dreaming City. Once there, players will have to kill some kind of ancient evil that haunts the city.

While most of what’s in the Dreaming City, and most of what we’ve seen in the trailer, remains a mystery to us, the one thing we know for sure is that that the city will likely host more content in this expansion. Dreaming City will be available to players after they complete Forsaken’s main campaign.
