Operation Grim Sky, The third season of Rainbow Six Siege, premieres on Sept. 4 for PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. Ubisoft announced yesterday.
Rainbow Six Siege’s new season begins next week
Operation Grim Sky starts Sept. 4

Players on the game’s test servers have been sampling Operation Grim Sky over the past two weeks. The new season brings in two new operators — Maverick, an attacker, and Clash, a defender. The Hereford Base map is also getting a makeover to balance it for competitive play.
Feedback from test server play has already delivered a number of changes (players may check them out on the game’s official site).
Maverick already will be nerfed according to player feedback, as will existing operators Zofia and Glaz. Maverick’s tuning comes from his new skill, the blowtorch, which can be used to cut holes in walls or fences. It’s less effective against barbed wire and a smoke grenade, which provided way too much cover for Maverick’s torch cutting, will be replaced with a stun grenade.
