Tokyo Game Show, one of the biggest gaming conventions in Tokyo, is just around the corner, and Square Enix has debuted a new Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer to celebrate.
New Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer introduces Big Hero 6’s Baymax
San Fransokyo will appear in the game
The newest addition to the Kingdom Hearts family is Big Hero 6’s adorable Baymax and his equally cute human counterpart, Hiro. The two were introduced to the Disney family in 2014 through a stand-alone Big Hero 6 movie, but more recently appeared in an ongoing Big Hero 6 series on Disney XD. Square Enix first announced in 2015 that Baymax would appear in Kingdom Hearts 3, but this is our first look at Baymax in action. In the trailer above, Baymax and Hero partner up with Sora, Donald Duck and Goofy to help save the world from devastation.
Previous Kingdom Hearts 3 trailers have ushered in a medley of Disney favorites, including Pirates of the Caribbean’s Jack Sparrow and the wonderful world of Toy Story.
Kingdom Hearts 3 will be released on Jan. 29, 2019, for PlayStation 4.
