Tokyo Game Show 2018 is still more than a week away, but a new trailer for FromSoftware’s Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has arrived in time for the event.
The new trailer focuses heavily on the game’s combat system, which showcases the notable differences between it and FromSoftware’s popular Dark Souls franchise. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will include impressive-looking aerial combat for players to engage in: Players can use a grappling hook to reach high places, and engage in some stealthy maneuvers while targeting enemies. This is a distinction from the Dark Souls games, but fans of that series will appreciate the moody ambience.
The trailer also hints at the storyline that players will experience, though without English captions, fans stateside who don’t understand Japanese will have to wait a little longer to figure it out to understand the trailer’s full context. More information about the game is expected to be announced during Tokyo Game Show when it kicks off next week.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will be available on March 22, 2019, for PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
