Several best selling board games are coming to the Nintendo Switch digitally, including Carcassonne, Settlers of Catan, Pandemic and an adaption of Steve Jackson’s Munchkin.

Asmodee Digital is bringing digital versions of these titles to the Switch, with local multiplayer options for each, Nintendo announced during its September Nintendo Direct on Thursday.
Carcassonne, a tile-building game where you construct medieval cities, is coming to the platform in December. While the game has come to many platforms digitally. this version will have local multiplayer, and have its expansions available as paid DLC.
Deckbuilding game Lord of the Rings: Living Card Game will come to Switch in April 2019, with single and two-player modes. Pandemic, coming March 2019, is the popular cooperative game where you stop diseases spreading from across the globe. The Direct also promised its expansions will be made available, also as paid DLC.
The Direct also promised a version of classic German board game empire Settlers of Catan will be coming to the console, along with an dungeon crawler adaption of Steve Jackson’s Munchkin. Neither of those game’s included a release window.
