Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age heads to Nintendo Switch next year, Nintendo announced during its Nintendo Direct late Thursday afternoon.
This version of the game was first released on PlayStation 4 and then on PC earlier this year. Zodiac Age is a remaster of the International Zodiac Job System version of the game, which was previously only released in Japan.
Also announced during the Nintendo Direct were a few other Final Fantasy games headed to the Switch. The first game announced was World of Final Fantasy Maxima, a new remastered version of World of Final Fantasy. This new version includes a feature called avatar change, which allows players to transform into fan-favorite characters from other Final Fantasy games. World of Final Fantasy Maxima releases on Nintendo Switch on Nov. 6.
Also announced is a new remastered version of Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon, called Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon Every Buddy!
That’s set to release this winter. This remake allows players to befriend every creature in each and every dungeon, as well as cooperative play. You can play the entire game with a friend.
