Square Enix is bringing a ton of new Final Fantasy games to Nintendo Switch — and making some classics available on Switch for the first time.
Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy 9 and Final Fantasy 10 are all coming to Switch
They’ll be available sometime in 2019

Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy 9 and Final Fantasy 10 (and 10.2 remastered) will all be available on Nintendo eShop sometime in 2019. For some unknown reason, Final Fantasy 8 isn’t included in the lineup, but the selection of old games is expansive enough. The Switch has been a haven for old games finding a second home and these roughly 20-year-old Final Fantasy titles will have a heralded spot in collections.
Re-experience the iconic stories of the old games right on Nintendo Switch — or play them for the very first time if you’ve only played the newer Final Fantasy titles.
There’s no specific release date for these old games, but it should be around the time of the newer Final Fantasy titles releasing in 2019.
