Dragon Ball FighterZ’s next fighter will be Android 17. That’s according to Bandai Namco (in a teaser tweet earlier today) and the latest issue of V-Jump (via Siliconera).
Android 17 has three super special attacks and will be based off his incarnation in Dragon Ball Super (another version of the character can assist Android 18 in the game). IGN says Android 17 arrives alongside Cooler (announced in August) on Sept. 27 and each will cost $5; it’s part of the FighterZ Pass delivering all of the game’s premium DLC, too.

Android 17 has a Barrier Explosion dash attack; End Game, which is a combo attack from behind an opponent, and then the Super Electric Strike, which is a charged energy attack. He’ll be the 27th fighter, main roster and DLC, since the game was introduced in January.
The new fighter will arrive with a new stage, Space Arena, plus a general update to the game. With Tokyo Game Show going on this week, it’s likely there will be more to come about this game.
