Zen Studios’ Pinball FX3 is the new home for classic pinball tables from Bally and Williams. Previously those pinball tables were part of Farsight Studios’ The Pinball Arcade, which lost the rights to license earlier this year.
The first Bally/Williams tables coming to Pinball FX3 are Fish Tales, Junk Yard, Medieval Madness and The Getaway: High Speed 2, all of which will be released sometime in 2018. Those tables are available to play now in public beta form in Pinball FX3 on Steam.
“Most of our developers grew up admiring Williams and Bally pinball machines, and we at Zen are devoted to treating these beloved tables with the respect they deserve for years to come in digital form,” said Zsolt Kigyossy, Zen Studios’ managing director, in an announcement. “We have a grand vision for what we can add to these amazing tables on gaming and mobile devices. We are dedicated to providing an amazing experience and new challenges for all players around the world!”
Pinball FX3 is available on Mac, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. The Pinball FX3 client is free to download, and owners can download licensed tables from Bethesda Softworks, Valve, Star Wars, Jurassic Park and other properties. Pricing for the Bally/Williams tables, which you can see in the gallery below, was not announced.
