Awesome Games Done Quick 2019: what to watch on the fifth day

The fifth day of Awesome Games Done Quick includes 19 events, nine of them featuring a speedrunner currently ranked No. 1 in the world in the event. Thursday afternoon features a Bethesda block involving Prey (2017), Dishonored and two of the classic Dooms. Late night into early morning, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD carries the schedule for nearly six hours.

Awesome Games Done Quick 2019 kicked off on Sunday and runs through Saturday from Rockville, Maryland. You can watch all of it live, right here.

Below are the games featuring world-record holders (according to speedrun.com) scheduled to appear over the next 24 hours (all times ET).

• 12:34 p.m. Overload (SpootyBiscuit). Trainee difficulty, Any%. SpootyBiscuit has held No. 1 since June.
• 1:20 p.m. Prey (bloodthunder). Mooncrash DLC on PC. bloodthunder took over No. 1 from Acefrog on Dec. 4.
• 3:40 p.m. Ultimate Doom (KingDime). Any% on PC. The AGDQ listing doesn’t specify, but KingDime is first in two categories and third in another on this game. That’s followed at 4:20 p.m. with Doom 2: Hell on Earth in a category where KingDime is 6th.
• 5:28 p.m. Crypt of the NecroDancer: Amplified (SpootyBiscuit). Coda, Low%.
• 10:48 p.m. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD (Linkus7). 100% on Wii U. Linkus7 has been No. 1 since August, improving the record twice since then. If you’re wondering, world record time on this game is 5:44:58.
• 4:58 a.m. (Friday) Pac-Man: Championship Edition 2 (Pinballwiz45b). Any% on PC.
• 6:31 a.m. Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal (Xem). Any% on PC.
• 7:46 a.m. Metroid Fusion (CScottyW). Any%, No Memory Corruption on Game Boy Advance. CScottyW just took over world No. 1 on Dec. 28.
• 8:51 a.m. Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction (MrLlamaSC). Any%, Normal Amazon.

Other runs of note:

• 3:10 p.m. Dishonored: Death of the Outsider (Metro72), Any% on PC. This follows Prey at 1:20 for a back-to-back of Arkane Studios titles.
• At 6:08 p.m., The Messenger (strizer86) followed by Dead Cells (BIGHONKINBURGER, scaz.zaf and ChurchnSarge) at 7:08 p.m. and Celeste (TGH) at 8:58 p.m. for a trio of new and watchable games. TGH was No. 1 in Celeste from March until just this Sunday.
• At 11:21 a.m. on Friday is Divinity: Original Sin 2 (Semanari), Any%, Old Patch. Semanari was No. 1 from February to July, is currently No. 2.
• And at 11:58 a.m. on Friday is Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (KZ_FREW). They’re not in the top 3, but it’s a classic, and if you’re wondering, record time is 50:20 with loads.
