With donations still trickling in, Awesome Games Done Quick 2019 ended its weeklong speedrunning festival with yet another record total raised for charity: $2.39 million for the Prevent Cancer Foundation.

The figure is according to a news release sent by Games Done Quick overnight; usually donations after the event’s midnight finale add to it throughout the following day. Last year, Awesome Games Done Quick raised $2.2 million, another record-beating total for the Prevent Cancer Foundation.

More than 46,000 persons or organizations donated, with the largest single gift being $10,000 from three sources. More than 180 gave a total of $1,000 or more.

To date, Awesome Games Done Quick and its companion event, Summer Games Done Quick, have raised more than $19 million for their respective charities. SGDQ benefits Doctors Without Borders, and in the past other charities have benefitted, including the Organization for Autism Research and CARE.

Games Done Quick reported attendance of 2,200 for the marathon, held in Rockville, Maryland. Peak viewership on Twitch reached 219,240 concurrents. The next event, Summer Games Done Quick 2019, will be held June 23-30 in Bloomington, Minnesota, where it was held last year. Organizers also announced that Awesome Games Done Quick 2020 will move to Orlando, Florida. Its dates will be announced later.

In all, 131 games were speedrun, and the vast majority of these events included the current record holder for fastest time. One runner, Krankdud, came away with world record times in both of their events: Mega Man Zero 2 on Sunday and a cooperative run in N++ with AND4H on Wednesday.

Here are, in chronological order, 10 of the best runs over the past week. The full list of runs, with video-on-demand links, can be found on the r/speedrun subreddit. Or cruise through Games Done Quick’s official YouTube channel (where videos are still being cut and uploaded).
