Warner Bros. has released the first real trailer for Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) featuring Margot Robbie’s return to the role of Harley in the “girl gang” movie the actress has been pushing for since 2015.
The trailer features Harley recruiting her gang, the Birds of Prey, and coming into conflict with Gotham’s mafia, all in a riot of color.
In addition to Robbie, the cast of Birds of Prey includes Jurnee Smollett-Bell (True Blood) as Black Canary, Mary Elizabeth Winstead (10 Cloverfield Lane, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World) as the Huntress, Rosie Perez (White Men Can’t Jump) as Renee Montoya, and newcomer Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain. Ewan McGregor (Christopher Robin) and Chris Messina (The Mindy Project) will play the villains Black Mask and Mister Zsasz, respectively.
Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) will hit theaters on Feb. 7, 2020.
