The latest trailer for Pixar’s next movie, Onward, reunites Tom Holland and Chris Pratt as two brothers in a “suburban fantasy” world. Prior to the trailer dropping, Pixar released a teaser for the trailer with Pratt and Holland reacting to the onscreen antics.

At this year’s D23, Disney’s fan expo, Pixar revealed the main gimmick of Onward. It’s not just two brothers going on an epic quest; it’s two brothers going on an epic quest with their dead father’s legs. How does that even happen? Well, a summoning spell gone wrong means that the boys were only able to summon half their father. Unfortunately, it’s the half without eyes, ears, or a mouth. Time to bond with dad! Or, uh, half of dad. Onward earns Weekend at Bernie’s comparisons about a third into the extended look at the film.
In this new trailer, we get a glimpse of legs dad, along with hints of Octavia Spencer’s character, Manticore. Julia Louis-Dreyfus also stars as the boys’ mom.
Onward comes out on March 6, 2020, the first of two Pixar films set for the year. The second, Soul, a metaphysical comedy about — you guessed it — souls, comes out in June.
