More than 15 million Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite units total have sold since launch, Nintendo announced today.
Nintendo has sold more than 15 million Switch units in North America
That’s a lot of Switches

Several Nintendo Switch games have sold over one million units, with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate selling over six million copies each.
The Nintendo Switch has cemented itself as a convenient console to have in the home, because of its portability, and its wide variety of endearing games have only helped support it. Ports of beloved favorites like the Final Fantasy games or Stardew Valley, as well as original indies like Untitled Goose Game, have only made it stronger. Untitled Goose Game sold over 100,000 copies within the first two weeks of its release.
This year has been fairly slow in big Nintendo Switch original title releases, especially in comparison to the console’s release year. With Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Pokémon Sword and Shield around the horizon, 2019 will wrap up nicely for the Switch.
The Nintendo Switch released in March 2017 with the Switch Lite following in September 2019.
