The chocobos in Final Fantasy 7 Remake are fluffy and glorious, as all chocobos should be, as shown in a new PlayStation Blog post.
The last trailer we saw from Tokyo Game Show revealed some of the bigger summons, like Shiva and Ifrit, but now we get to see what happens when you summon Chocobo and Moogle. The screens show the special “Stampede” attack, which summons a ton of chocobos to plow through the enemies.
The blog post also showed off several important locations from the first part of the game, like Aerith’s home and the beautiful scenery around it, as well as the church where she tends to the flowers. There’s also some nice clear shots of Reno, Rude, and the Avalanche crew, which you can see in the gallery below.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be released for PlayStation 4 on March 3, 2020, and it’ll cover the first part of the game, up until Cloud and friends leave Midgar.
Correction: The original version of this story listed the incorrect release date for Final Fantasy 7 Remake. The PS4 game will be released March 3, 2020.
