Listen to Gone Home’s music as it was intended: on cassette tape.
Independent punk music label Kill Rock Stars is selling the Gone Home soundtrack and score on a two-sided cassette tape. Gone Home’s synth score by Chris Remo is on one side, with its soundtrack — with music from The Youngins, Bratmobile, and Heavens to Betsey — on the other.
The Gone Home cassette is on sale now for $7 and will begin shipping on Nov. 29. The Fullbright Company co-founder Steve Gaynor wrote on Twitter that it’s a limited run.

Gone Home was released on Aug. 15, 2013 for PC. In 2016, it was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Finally, the game came to Nintendo Switch in 2018. The first-person exploration game, which heavily focused on story rather than action gameplay, impacted the video game industry when it was released in 2013, and its influence has been felt throughout the industry ever since.
