Hulu is offering a pretty sweet deal for Black Friday shoppers — 12 months of an ad-supported subscription for $1.99 per month. Usually $5.99 per month, that’s a $4 monthly savings. Spread out over 12 months, you’re paying $23.88 for a year of Hulu, saving $48.
That’s almost as good a deal as the Disney Plus bundle with ESPN Plus and Hulu, and it’s a better deal if you don’t care about ESPN Plus. Unfortunately, this deal cannot be combined with other offers, so you won’t be able to add this discounted Hulu plan to a Disney Plus bundle.
There are some other caveats as well. The Black Friday promotion is only available to new subscribers or returning customers who haven’t held a Hulu subscription in at least a year. And, as noted above, the deal is only available for the ad-supported version of Hulu. An ad-free subscription still costs the standard $11.99 per month, while Hulu with Live TV starts at $44.99 per month.
Hulu’s Black Friday deal runs through midnight PT on Cyber Monday, Dec. 2.
