Sony is streaming a new episode of State of Play, the PlayStation equivalent of a Nintendo Direct, on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 9 a.m. ET./6 a.m. PT. The company says we can expect “20 minutes of new game reveals, release date announcements, new gameplay footage, PlayStation Worldwide Studios updates, and more.”
The December 2019 episode of State of Play will be livestreamed on Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook. You can watch it via YouTube in the video above.
One thing we won’t see during today’s State of Play, Sony says, is news on the company’s next-generation console, the PlayStation 5. Instead, it’s likely we’ll get new information on previously announced games, like Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima, Camouflaj’s Iron Man VR, and Media Molecule’s Dreams, and possibly a few official reveals. Maybe that Resident Evil 3 remake that leaked via the PlayStation Store? And possibly a new Crash Bandicoot game? With another major event (Geoff Keighley’s The Game Awards) also happening this week, who knows what we’ll see?
