The bad goose is coming to more platforms

Untitled Goose Game will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Dec. 17, developer House House announced today. When Untitled Goose Game arrives on Xbox One, it’ll be part of Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass subscription service, too.

In early October, shortly after the slapstick-stealth game made a big splash on Nintendo Switch and PC, House House said it wanted to bring the title over to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One eventually — though it was an offhand remark during a longer interview. Given Untitled Goose Game’s global success, it’s not a surprise to see the game ported over to other platforms.

Untitled Goose Game was everywhere after its big debut. The memes were spreading faster than you could say “honk,” but it was performing pretty well on the Nintendo Switch eShop, too. In its first week, the game hit the #1 spot on the Nintendo Switch best-sellers and digital downloads lists in the United States. It’s an impressive feat given how well The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening sold, and the fact that Untitled Goose Game is an indie game from a four-person studio.

Untitled Goose Game will cost $19.99 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Both Sony and Microsoft are running limited-time launch sales, lowering the price to $14.99. If you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, there’s no extra charge to play the game.

Update: This story has been updated to add news about Untitled Goose Game’s launch on Xbox One and Xbox Game Pass.
