Atlus’ re-release of Persona 5 is coming to PlayStation 4 on March 31, 2020. Persona 5 Royal — aka Persona 5: The Royal in Japan — will add a new a ton features to the 2017 role-playing game, including a new playable character, a new area to explore, and a host of tweaks and streamlining changes.
Persona 5: The Royal was first released in Japan in October.
A release date trailer for Persona 5 Royal showcases the re-release’s additions, like new friend encounters — you can grab a Big Bang Burger with the Twin Wardens, for example — and new Phantom Thief Kasumi Yoshizawa (aka Violet) in action.
