Untitled Goose Game now has an untitled release date. That is, it’s delayed.
Previously slated for an early 2019 launch, the game is now coming “later” this year, nothing more specific. Developer House House attributed the delay to “circumstances beyond our control.”
Untitled Goose Game caught eyes at the end of 2017 and in early 2018, less so for the creators dithering on what to call it, and more for the animated exploits of its protagonist, an asshole goose. Somehow this qualifies as a stealth game, as the goose’s job is to wander about a farm and village, avoiding humans and causing mayhem.
A bit of news: due to circumstances beyond our control — see video — our goose game will not be arriving until later in 2019. This means we'll be able to make the best goose game possible! Thanks for your patience — we'll get this goose to you as soon as we can. pic.twitter.com/8BqbYw0wQb

There’s a puzzle-like nature to the goose’s missions, in which players are tasked with objectives like getting the farmer to change the hat he’s wearing, or retrieve a number of items (which humans obviously don’t want the goose to have).
Untitled Goose Game is one of our 50 most anticipated games of the coming year. It’s launching on Nintendo Switch and Windows PC.
