The first full trailer for Toy Story 4 brings our favorite toys back and finally shows off just what’s happening in the fourth installment of the series.
Previously, two short teasers for Toy Story 4 revealed the existence of a handful of new characters: Forky, the newly animated spork-turned-toy voiced by Tony Hale (Arrested Development, Veep) and two carnival prizes voiced by comedians Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele. These previous teasers hinted at a greater plot revolving around Forky’s existential crisis and what it means to be a toy in this world.
We also got a hint at Bo Peep’s new look and expanded role in the Toy Story franchise.
But with this new trailer, we see more of the carnival, where Buzz finds himself trapped. Bo Peep is also there, though we’re still not sure just how they all got to the carnival.
Tom Hanks and Tim Allen return to the cast as Woody and Buzz Lightyear. Also returning is Joan Cusack as Jessie and Annie Potts as Bo Peep. New to the cast is Keanu Reeves in an unspecified role.
Toy Story 4 arrives in theaters June 21, 2019.
