Halo touring fanfest heading to five US cities this summer

Halo: Outpost Discovery promises attractions, games, and more

Halo fans in the U.S. will get a chance to immerse themselves in the franchise later this year, thanks to an all-ages touring experience that Microsoft says “brings the Halo video game universe to life like never before.”

That experience, dubbed Halo: Outpost Discovery, promises Halo-themed attractions, VR and laser tag games, more than 200 video game stations, exclusive gear, and more.

Microsoft will bring Halo: Outpost Discovery to five U.S. cities this summer. Here’s what Microsoft says players will experience across 300,000 square feet of play space:

This family-friendly event lets you step into Halo’s beloved science fiction setting like never before, with immersive themed attractions, interactive in-universe encounters, the latest playable game releases, and so much more. Visit a Halo Ring, get up close and personal with a real-life Warthog, battle fellow recruits in an epic laser tag arena, experience thrilling in-universe encounters with the latest simulation technologies, and much more.

Here are the dates and locations for Halo: Outpost Discovery’s summertime tour:

  • July 5-7, Orlando
  • July 19-21, Philadelphia
  • Aug. 2-4, Chicago
  • Aug. 16-18, Houston
  • Aug. 30-Sept. 1, Anaheim
