It’s easy to forget that John Wick isn’t actually in Fortnite, given that everyone calls the bearded premium skin from season 3 “John Wick.” (It’s actually named The Reaper.) Today, Epic Games formalized the violently stylish movie connection through an island Easter egg.
The new season 9 update changed the Paradise Palms portion of the map, introducing a mansion that may look very similar to anyone who has watched John Wick.

Here’s John Wick’s house, for comparison’s sake:

The Fortnite mansion also has a chest in the basement, which is a callback to John Wick’s house stash, where he keeps weapons and large amounts of gold.

What makes this discovery particularly interesting is that data miners have found in-game files that seems to refer to a limited-time mode. Curiously, the name “Wick” is all over these files.

While there’s no confirmation or announcement yet, it’s worth remembering that John Wick 3: Parabellum is hitting theaters onMay 17, which aligns perfectly with this new Fortnite season. In the past, Fortnite has done film collaborations by introducing a limited-time mode to coincide with the release of Avengers: Endgame.
