Charlie’s Angels have expanded their sphere of influence worldwide in the first trailer for upcoming Charlie’s Angels film. The trailer for the film, directed by actress-turned-director Elizabeth Banks, gives us a first look of the next generation of super spies as they meet and get decked out with killer clothes and killer gadgets.
The new film is a “continuation” of both the original television series and the 2000s films and imagines the original crew expanded into a full-fledged organization. “If you were rich in 1976, you only got richer,” Banks told Entertainment Weekly. “Charles Townsend is richer than ever, so he’s grown the business into a global spy agency.”
Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska take on the leading roles as Sabina Wilson, Elena Houghlin, and Jane Kano, respectively. Banks will play the new Bosley (now a title instead of one person) alongside Patrick Stewart and Djimon Hounsou. Noah Centineo (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before) plays Langston, a mystery character who has only been described as a friend to Elena.
Charlie’s Angels hits theaters on Nov. 15.
