The first full plot trailers for Amazon Prime’s upcoming fantasy noir show Carnival Row brings the Victorian world to life.

Dropped during SDCC, the new trailers — told from two points of view Cara Delevingne’s refugee fairy Vignette Stonemoss and Orlando Bloom’s human detective Rycroft Philostrate — shows off not only the magical Victorian world, but also the characters’ secret love affair It’s not just fun and games, though, as we see the full extent of discrimination that the mythical beings face in the bustling city of the Burg and get some history of the war that tore the world apart.

Previous teasers just showed Delevingne’s translucent fairy wings and a rumbling train full of magical beings.

In addition to Delevingne and Bloom, David Gyasi (Interstellar), Karla Crome (Misfits), Indira Varma (Game of Thrones), and Tamzin Merchant (Salem) join the cast.

Carnival Row premieres on Amazon Prime on Aug. 30.
