Avengers: Endgame bloopers are the best kind of bloopers

A new feature takes us back in time to the Avengers’ biggest flubs

Captain America never complains. Chris Evans ... is not Captain America. And if Cap’s helmet sucks, he’s not afraid to say it.

“I can’t believe I made a whole movie with this thing on,” he grumbles midway through a new snippet of the Avengers: Endgame blooper reel.

Evans is also humble — he’d later tweet on his last day of filming that “playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor,” thanking the fans for supporting him through the years — but even a movie the size of Endgame has its irksome quirks. In Steve Rogers’ case, it was spending another eon in front of a green screen wearing his 2012 Avengers costume. For Brie Larson, it meant hanging from a wire for hours at a time. For Paul Rudd, it was just nailing the lines. At least that’s what we gather from the blooper reel, which is a delight.

The clip, which premiered on Entertainment Weekly, comes from Endgame’s home video release. Having become the biggest movie of all time thanks to some added footage and the rallying of fans, the film is finally coming to digital in HD and 4K HD, as well as on Disney’s Movies Anywhere platform, beginning on July 30. Endgame later arrive on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD, and various on-demand platforms beginning Aug. 13.

Need more bloops? We got more bloops. Here’s the Avengers: Infinity War reel to tide you over until Endgame is in your hands.
