Zombieland sequel trailer features Woody Harrelson as Santa and Elvis

Zombieland: Double Tap reunites the whole gang, including Emma Stone

The whole gang’s back! A full decade after Zombieland hit theaters, Zombieland: Double Tap lurches to life. Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin, and Woody Harrelson are all reprising their roles as intrepid survivors of the zombie apocalypse.

Based on the first trailer, it seems like the found family have taken up residence in the now-empty White House, though the idyllic times don’t last long. As always, there are more zombies — and there are more people, too, including the seemingly scatterbrained Madison (Zoey Deutch), the handsome Berkeley (Avan Jogia), and the kickass Nevada (Rosario Dawson).

There’s also a Shaun of the Dead doppelgänger situation occurring, as a pair of travelers (Luke Wilson and Thomas Middleditch) turn out to be dead ringers for Tallahassee (Harrelson) and Columbus (Eisenberg).

Other plot details (such as why Tallahassee is dressed up as Elvis) remain unclear, though the number of methods used to kill zombies only seems to be ramping up. Monster trucks and combine harvesters feature in some of the flashiest scenes in the trailer.

Zombieland: Double Tap is set to hit theaters on Oct. 18, just in time for Halloween.
