Geoff Keighley’s Gamescom Opening Night Live promises big reveals

Gamescom 2019 kicks off on Tuesday, Aug. 20, in Cologne, Germany, but before that massive gaming event begins, a pre-show livestream called Gamescom Opening Night Live will deliver big reveals.

Hosted by Geoff Keighley, Gamescom Opening Night Live will feature new previews of AAA games like Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding and Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

Gamescom Opening Night Live will begin at 2 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. PT, and will be streamed live on YouTube, Twitch, Mixer, Twitter, and Facebook. The show is expected to run approximately two hours.

In addition to a new look at Death Stranding and a “special announcement” for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Gamescom Opening Night Live will also feature updates and new game reveals from publishers such as 2K, Bandai Namco Entertainment, Bungie, Capcom, Deep Silver, Electronic Arts, Epic Games, Private Division, Sega, Square Enix, Sony Interactive Entertainment, THQ Nordic, Ubisoft, and Xbox Game Studios.
