Warframe developer Digital Extremes announced a whole host of content at this year’s Tennocon, but there’s another smaller event going online today. Dog Days Tactical Alert is a summer event based around you, a beach arena, an “ultra-powered Soaktron” squirt gun, and other players. If players win their watery brawls, they’ll win rewards.

The beach arena disallows mods, pets, and abilities. Warframes are on equal footing, and must participate in a deathmatch. Of course, Soaktrons must be refilled, and so players will need to refuel at water fountains throughout the arena.

There are four in-game rewards, along with a special event currency that can be traded on Cetus for extra cosmetic rewards. The event runs through Aug. 12, at 11 a.m. ET. Players can win four tiers of rewards.

Mission 1: 50,000 Credits and Redeemer Abysso Skin

Mission 2: 50,000 Credits and Hydroid’s Relay Scene

Mission 3: 50,000 Credits and Hydroid Reprise Noggle

Mission 4: Orokin Reactor and Stratos Emblem

On top of credits, cosmetic skins, and photo mode backgrounds, players will receive a double credit booster. Players who have a credit booster will have both boosters stack, giving up to a 4X bonus.

Every match of the beach arena completed before Aug. 6 also rewards players extra entries in Digital Extremes’ Space Ninja contest. The winner of this contest will win $250,000 toward a trip to space. Each arena match will reward players with one extra entry.

Warframe has recently shot up to the top of my games list in 2019 due to the game’s welcoming community, and the increasing quality of the game as I explore and discover new systems. The Dog Days event is live now on all platforms.
