The Game of the Year edition of Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man arrives on Wednesday, offering the base game plus The City That Never Sleeps DLC extension that followed its launch one year ago.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Game of the Year Edition is $39.99 and available through the PlayStation Store and other retailers. The City That Never Sleeps, a three-chapter expansion that launched a month after the main game, is still $24.99 for those who already have the base game.
The GOTY edition is effectively a half-off sale of Spider-Man’s original digital deluxe edition, which included the game and the DLC. Spider-Man, a PlayStation 4 exclusive, launched Sept. 7, 2018 and The City That Never Sleeps followed with its first chapter on Oct. 23, 2018. The DLC adds new missions and challenges, plus nine more Spidey costumes.
