Gearbox Software plans an extensive show to kick off PAX West 2019, which should spotlight Borderlands 3 among the catalog of games the company is developing and publishing over the next year. You can watch it all live, right here, beginning at 1:30 p.m. PDT/4:30 p.m. EDT.
Borderlands 3 launches in just two weeks — Sept. 13, 2019, on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. We’ll likely get one last splash of gameplay and new features from today’s livestream before the release date arrives. Borderlands 3 marks the 10-year-old franchise’s debut on this console generation, although remastered versions of Borderlands (2009) Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel (released as part of 2015’s Borderlands: The Handsome Collection) have come to PS4 and Xbox One.
Gearbox Publishing is a relatively newer business for the longtime developer, starting in 2016. It’s the publishing company behind We Happy Few and Risk of Rain 2, and the remastered Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition that launched in 2017.
PAX West 2019 gets underway today and runs through Monday, Sept. 2 in Seattle.
