Skullgirls developer Lab Zero Games will release its next game, the Valkyrie Profile and Super Metroid-inspired action role-playing game Indivisible, on Oct. 8, publisher 505 Games announced on Thursday.

Indivisible is coming to Linux, Mac, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One in early October, with a Nintendo Switch version also in development and arriving at a later date. Indivisible stars Ajna, a “good-natured tomboy with a rebellious streak” who goes on a quest to discover the truth behind mysterious powers that emerge when her rural town is attacked. On her journey she’ll be joined by a variety of playable heroes and learn new abilities to traverse the environments and defeat enemies.

According to an official description of Indivisible:

The game’s huge fantasy world, characters and aesthetic design are inspired by various cultures and mythologies. Throughout Ajna’s quest, she’ll encounter many “incarnations”; people she can absorb into herself and manifest to fight alongside her. There are many incarnations to recruit, each with their own story and personality. By uniting people from faraway lands, Ajna will learn about herself, the world she inhabits and, most importantly, how to save it.

The side-scrolling action-RPG is available for pre-order on Steam. That version of Indivisible will come with character skins inspired by Valve games Half-Life, Portal, and Team Fortress 2, and players can even secure a Portal Companion Cube.

Lab Zero announced and crowdfunded Indivisible in 2015 through Indiegogo, where the studio raised more than $2 million.
