Jurassic World 3 will reunite Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum

Jurassic Park actors Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum will all appear in the third installment of the Jurassic World trilogy. Previously, Goldblum’s Dr. Ian Malcolm made a short appearance in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, but Neill’s Dr. Alan Grant and Dern’s Dr. Ellie Sattler have not appeared in the sequel trilogy.

Neill and Dern’s last appearance in the Jurassic Park saga was in 2001’s Jurassic Park III, aka the one with the parasailing gone wrong. Goldblum did not appear in that movie, which makes Jurassic World 3 the first full reunion for the trio.

Dern revealed that the three actors would be returning to the final installment of the Jurassic World series during a fan screening of Battle at Big Rock, director Collin Trevorrow’s short film that takes place after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The eight-minute movie centered on a family having a peaceful picnic, before dinosaurs show up and horror ensues.

Trevorrow is set to direct Jurassic World 3, which starts production in early 2020, and is slated for a June 11, 2021 release date.
