Nintendo has announced that a new Kirby game called Super Kirby Clash is headed to Nintendo Switch. We got a first look at the game during today’s Nintendo Direct stream. The game is available now, and is “free to start.”
Up to four players can team up, with each taking on a specific role. Players fight a number of boss battles while crafting weapons and spending materials to buy new gear. There are options for local multiplayer, if everyone would like to use a Joy-Con to play on the same screen, or you can join others to play online.
The combined forces of Kirby, Kirby, Kirby, and Kirby are in for some wicked boss fights in #SuperKirbyClash! Get ready to unite with friends and players from around the world across more than 100 quests in this free-to-start game, available now!https://t.co/5WUyWhOBf4 pic.twitter.com/isCBJ4EqDM

“Are you a Sword Hero?” the game’s official page asks. “Hammer Lord? Beam Mage? Or Doctor Healmore?! No matter what, each mighty role offers up a unique way to play.” You can also use your existing amiibo to unlock “extra fragments” to craft new gear from the jump.
Super Kirby Clash is available today.
