Divinity Original Sin 2 is on its way to the Switch. Today’s Nintendo Direct revealed that the definitive edition of the Larian Studios title is heading to Nintendo’s hybrid console, and it will support cross-saves with Steam.
Original Sin 2 is a fantastic tactical RPG with a wealth of content and cast of characters. The player can also customize their protagonist. For a more interesting run, players can play a skeleton, or take a character specialization that allows them to eat flesh in order to unlock lore. The RPG is also built to allow four player co-op, with each player taking a part in the campaign and interacting with the world.
The cross-saves will be a relief for those who haven’t managed to complete the behemoth RPG on Steam; players won’t have to start their adventure over in order to play the game on the portable Switch.
Divinity Original Sin 2: Definitive Edition is available on Switch today.
